Here are some of our most frequently asked questions:

Can we see The Collective live before we book?

Yes. The Collective play regularly in and around Norwich. Check out our gig list here.

How long will you play for?

We play two 1 hour sets. We generally recommend for private functions that we start the first set about 9pm as this will give your guests a chance to arrive, socialise and have a drink. We also suggest that the interval is kept to a maximum of 30 minutes as this helps to maintain a good atmosphere. These are of course only suggestions and we are more than happy to be flexible on the night.

Can we request songs?

Generally we dont take requests as we like to play to our strengths and all of our chosen songs are well rehearsed. We are however always open to suggestions for new songs.

Can you provide music in between the bands sets?

Yes. We have an ipod with over 6 hours of music which can be played before the band start, during the interval and when we have finished. You are more than welcome to put your own ipod/mp3 player or laptop into our PA if you would like to organise your own playlist, as long as it uses a standard 3.5mm headphone jack . Please be aware that we cannot play CDs.

What time will you arrive to set up?

We will be at the venue at 7.30pm to set up and this will take approximately 45mins.

Do you have public liability insurance?

We have public liability for up to £5m and the policy schedule is available upon request.

Do I need to provide anything for the band?

Ideally we will need at least four mains sockets at the stage area to power our equipment as it is dangerous to run everything from one socket. If you are providing food for your guests, it would be appreciated if the band could have a small snack, although please don't feel obliged.
